Foca Antik Hotel

We paid 175₺ per person for breakfast at this cozy, family-run seaside place in Foça, and everything felt fresh and lovingly made. There were bright greens, a nice range of local cheeses, and an omelette that was just right. Sitting by the sea in such a warm, welcoming atmosphere made the meal even better. A lovely, relaxing Turkish breakfast and great value. Highly recommend.

The town was so charming that we’re planning to return. We stayed two nights, and honestly, a few more would have been ideal. The hotel is simple and rustic, but clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The hotel makes great use of its space, and the grounds are well kept. We loved the seating where you can watch the sunset, and the restaurant food was excellent. I may have had the best Turkish kofte, or meatballs, I’ve ever tasted, with shoestring fries. The Turkish coffee with sugar was outstanding too. The owner, a handsome young hipster guy, went out of his way to help us, and his staff were colorful characters who gave the place personality. Our room was cozy and had all the amenities we could ask for. The views were breathtaking, and the location is central, with the waterfront, restaurants, bars, shops, and beaches just steps away. Foca doesn’t have many huge modern hotels, and it shouldn’t. This charming boutique hotel captures the Aegean feel of Foca beautifully. Excellent value for money, and I’d definitely stay again.

The owners were attentive and happy to help, and the hotel itself was quiet. The breakfast buffet made up for some of the room’s shortcomings, and I enjoyed a delicious meal in the calm of the morning. Room size was okay, but the amenities were low quality. I really regretted leaving my shampoo at home. The location is great, close to the town’s attractions and restaurants, so after a drink you’re only a minute’s walk from the hotel. Good stay.
