Nest Cappadocia Hotel

I was in touch with the hotel on WhatsApp before arriving, and they always replied so kindly. On my last day, I had some kind of allergy in my eyes. The women on staff immediately offered to help, putting tea drops in my eyes and warm tea bags on them to help with the swelling. The people working there were genuinely kind and concerned about me.

I’m so disappointed. I paid £180 cash for a balloon flight arranged through reception, as cash was the only way to pay. I was told I’d get a full refund if the flight couldn’t go ahead, but I’ve tried to get my money back and had no luck. Be wary of booking trips here. The hotel also arranged a return shuttle that took me to the wrong airport, so I missed two flights. I paid over £100 for a taxi to get to the correct airport, then had to buy new flights and more. I’m down £738.90, and the hotel refuses to offer compensation even though I have full evidence. It’s a nice hotel, but it really let me down, mostly reception, and none of this was my fault 😢😢

We were happy with everything. The hotel location and terrace view were both very good, and the staff were helpful and friendly 😊

The staff, who are all family, were the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. It’s a beautiful new building in a lovely quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks from central Uçhisar. They’ve got a real gem here. I only wish I knew more Turkish so I could express my appreciation to them better. Five out of five, and I’d give more if I could.
