Hotel Palm Beach

The view was lovely, and the beach is very close. That's the only reason I'd give this place two stars. Service was terrible, and the breakfast buffet was just cheese, vegetables, and eggs. Staff even argued with us when we took too much. The old TV and air conditioner were right there in the room, and the AC made a loud racket. The rest was average at best. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The location is one of the few good things here, along with the friendly bar staff. On our third trip to Marmaris, this has been the worst three-star hotel we've stayed in so far. There's no fridge or shampoo. The safe costs $20, and it's in the lobby rather than the room. They also charge for an AC that barely works and drips water everywhere. Breakfast had very little variety, just two cheeses, cucumber, tomatoes, jam, and eggs.

They want you to pay separately for the air conditioning and TV, and there was no trust in the guests. They watched what visitors ate and drank, with no bracelets, help, or advice. The staff were rude, irritating, and spoke no English. Plumbing and water pressure were bad, and breakfast was poor. It was no kind of holiday, just a shame. Never again.

The rooms are pretty basic, but the shower was hot and the bed was fairly comfy. It's a short walk into town for all the nice restaurants and bars, though the beach felt too far away for me. The little pool and bar are lovely. I'd stay there again.
