Miss Buse deserves a special thank you for being so professional, welcoming, attentive, and helpful. Her positive attitude made the stay even better and reflects well on the hotel's service. Hampton by Hilton Kocaeli was clean, comfortable, and well organized, with a great location and friendly atmosphere. I had a very pleasant stay, would happily return, and highly recommend it.

The beds are comfortable, but the noise makes it hard to enjoy them. A nightclub starts up at 10 pm, and kids shout and scream in the corridors until the early hours. Parking can be difficult too, since the underground car park is public parking for the shopping centre. Avoid this place if you want to sleep.

Our rooms were quiet and moderately comfortable, and the hotel was good value. The night we checked in, though, it was badly understaffed. Parking was a problem, and the hotel couldn't help because one person at the reservation desk was overwhelmed by a long line of people.

The rooms were nice, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Tunay Aydin at the front desk was especially helpful and cheerful. A great person.

The room had a beautiful view, especially around sunset, and the location right beside Izmit's largest mall was convenient. The staff were okay, nothing special. I arrived with more than four pieces of luggage and was surprised there was no service to help carry them. The bed was very uncomfortable, and breakfast was average. Even the coffee machine wasn't working. I also reported that the bathroom sink was draining poorly and water was stuck in the bath, but nobody came to fix it.
