Navalia Otel

It's easy to walk everywhere from this peaceful boutique hotel, while still being away from the crowds. The staff are polite and know the area well, and the rooms are clean and tastefully furnished. Breakfast is fantastic, especially the unusual jams and preserves, like mint, watermelon, and hot pepper. The hotel also lets guests use the beach umbrellas and lounges for free through an agreement with the local municipality. Most noise comes from that municipal beach, not the hotel. The beach cafeteria calls out orders over a loudspeaker for people to collect, which can be irritating, though I don't find it nearly as bad as some make it sound. There's also a small surf shack at the beach's edge where you can rent windsurfs and little sailboats, though it's separate from the hotel.

A recently built, well-run stone and wood hotel with spacious, very clean rooms, right by the beach. Its patio beside the public beach has relaxed, bold sofas on grass under big umbrellas. The restaurant serves tasty Aegean dishes, local mezes and grilled food, plus fresh fish or meat each day. It's a small, quiet, private-feeling resort with friendly management, though weekends in high season can get crowded.

We had a wonderful family stay. The hotel is well looked after, the service and staff are decent, and the location is both peaceful and lovely.

That view from our bedroom was priceless! The room was beautiful, breakfast excellent, and the staff were warm and wonderful.
