The hosts were helpful, the room was large and clean, and the dogs were lovely. It’s a quiet spot with a wonderful view, especially for people who enjoy nature. Thanks, Pinar, for being so hospitable. Beautiful beaches and old Foca are easy to get to by car or public transport.

We loved this tiny home. The host was accommodating, and it’s away from the busy town.

Ms. Pınar, on both visits we left the houses after cleaning them, even though that wasn’t our responsibility. Last time, after you turned off the hot water, I put some dishes in the dishwasher and left them there. We gathered the rubbish and set it aside, too. Taking it away is your responsibility. Did you expect us to carry it to the landfill down the road, when your prices are much higher than many boutique businesses? Caring for animals and nature is a firm boundary for me. We don’t leave beer bottles lying around, and we piled the rubbish inside so animals wouldn’t get into it, since you don’t take it away. We kept it there for two days and only put it outside the door on our departure day for you to dispose of. As for the one styrofoam plate the cats tore up, we didn’t notice it while barbecuing after dark. We forgot about it, then gathered the pieces before leaving. Your garden light wasn’t working properly, and the air conditioner kept flickering too. Some rubbish may have escaped our notice, but we collected it all before we left. If you continue making defamatory claims and fabricated reviews to raise your business rating, I’ll complain to the Ministry of Tourism and Business. Throughout our holiday, we had serious problems with heating and hot water, basic needs you were responsible for providing. Instead of dealing with those, you keep bringing up the rubbish we collected before leaving. We asked politely for hot water and heating, saying we knew it might not be in your control and didn’t want to upset you. We first spoke to you; writing this review was our last resort, and the messages are still there, Ms. Pınar. We explained constructively that we were cold, the air conditioner kept switching on and off, and the water was cold, so we couldn’t even shower. You tried to shift attention away from the problem instead of solving it. We were the ones who asked for blankets and a heater. You said there wasn’t a heater, and we believed you and dressed in layers without making a fuss. You brought blankets a day later, after seeing our messages too late. To be clear, washing dishes, wiping tables, and collecting rubbish aren’t guests’ responsibilities in a lodging business. Still, as a courtesy, we carefully cleaned everything before handing the place back, including toilet waste, the kitchen, and tables. On our last visit, after you repeatedly mentioned the styrofoam the cats had torn up, we had to pick it off the floor piece by piece before checkout. Using one missing charcoal from a previous visit as an excuse not to address a vital issue like heating isn’t professional. You also turned down our request for a two-hour later checkout, saying dishonestly that “the houses are full.” We saw online the next day that they were empty, and that made us question how you valued us and whether you were honest in business. A business that admits its mistakes and tries to put things right can win a guest over. Blaming the guest and acting dishonestly costs more than one guest, it damages the business’s reputation. You used to call us a “good luck charm” and encourage us to return. Your harsh, unfounded attitude when something went wrong was hurtful and very unprofessional. The timing of the many positive reviews that appeared after our negative comments is also significant, especially as we were the only guests there. You’ve lost our trust and our loyalty. If you’d treated us with the same friendly smiles you showed when we praised our earlier visits, we wouldn’t be writing this. We were always ready to be understanding and supportive, and treated you like an older sister. We’ll never return to a place we once loved so much.
