Dinner was the standout for us. The vegetarian dishes were all great, and those stuffed grape leaves were the best I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast had the best pisi I’ve tried too, light, fluffy, and crisp, not chewy. The wine was good quality, and there was beer and fresh squeezed juice as well. That said, I rated the hotel five stars for the service, friendly people, charm, views, location, peaceful feel, and food and drinks. The room itself felt more like a four. In room 1, the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up, which made using the toilet awkward, and the bathroom could use a bit of a makeover. The cotton bedspread was too small for my husband and me, though I was glad there was a thick blanket in the wardrobe. The food was so good it deserves a Michelin mention. If you stay, have dinner there.

We loved the Turkish breakfast, with plenty of fresh, warm choices, and the view made it even nicer. Dinner is available at the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, which has a stylish atmosphere. The hotel is also very pet-friendly, and Baron, their lovely dog, was especially friendly and cute. Our room was clean, comfortable, and ready for us. It was cold outside, but the air conditioning kept us warm. We stayed one night and found the whole place calm and restful, with a beautiful view. There’s private parking, which was handy since we came by car. Kozbeyli Konağı is in Kozbeyli, just before Yeni Foça in İzmir, about a 10-minute drive from the coast. Yeni Foça is a popular seaside area with a lovely sea and marina cafés. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone after a quiet, cozy and authentic break near Yeni Foça. Hope everyone planning a visit has a wonderful holiday.

The traditional Turkish breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very gentle. A lovely spot to unwind, close to the beach, in a beautiful old stone village with a sea view.

Our room was huge and had a big porch, though it was underneath the restaurant. The restaurant has a great view. The hotel itself was nice, and the breakfast, when it finally arrived after a 30-minute wait, was delicious. Communication was difficult without Turkish, and the waiters seemed unsure where to go, leaving us waiting at lunch and dinner too. The pool wasn’t working, I guess because of covid 19.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly. If you need help, just let them know. I was really happy with breakfast on the first morning, it looked delicious, and I ate about half. The location didn’t suit me, since I spent my holiday days in Foca.
