Villa Fokai Hotel

The best things were the location, close to the center and bazaar, and the spacious rooms with balconies. But the place felt abandoned, with no staff or kitchen and cleaning workers around. It seemed to be run by a couple. Breakfast was offered, though we didn't get to try it. The hotel and gardens also looked less green than they do in the photos. Our room hadn't really been cleaned. The floors and bathroom floor were still dirty, and the balcony was dusty. They had changed the sheets and towels and cleaned the toilet, but that was about it. The water pipes seemed to be broken: hot water kept running, even in the toilet. We had to switch it on and off to get it back to normal, and that only worked briefly. On our last day, we left the key at reception and went.

Five stars don't seem like enough. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. They didn't hassle us when we needed to check out in the morning. I've found my ideal place to stay in Foça. Thanks for all your effort.

The room lock didn't work, the TV was out of order, and cleanliness was only so-so. The hot water stayed dangerously hot, so showering meant getting burned. We chose the place because it was reasonably priced, and being near the beach was a plus. If comfort isn't a priority and you just want somewhere cheap, you could stay here.

I've stayed here many times and always enjoyed it, and I plan to come back. It feels like home, and the owners are kind and capable. I'm really glad I met Ms. Irina and Mr. Cüneyt. You're welcome to stay here.
