Mia City Hotel

Dinner tasted good, though it was a little pricey. Breakfast the next morning was incredible, with a huge spread and choices for different cultures and preferences. My family and I needed somewhere relaxing and convenient to recover after a long travel day, and this worked really well. We had a lovely city view, a big comfortable bed, and a spotless bathroom with a huge tub. The AC worked perfectly, too. A week and three hotels later, Mia is still the cleanest and most modern hotel we’ve stayed in so far. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and spoke English well.

The fridge made a noise like a washing machine all night, the beds were uncomfortable, and the rooms were small. The AC didn’t work, so the room was like a sauna. I mentioned it in the morning and was told they’d sort it out. Hotels.com also spoke with them about the problem, but when I returned after the first day it still wasn’t working. I checked out early. They tried to move me to a suite, but I didn’t want it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. More like a 2-star hotel. Awful night’s sleep, avoid!

We had parking for our car, and the hotel was just a few minutes from the airport, which mattered most since my friend had an early flight. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good. It was the most modern hotel of our whole trip. We also picked up a few beers in the lobby before walking to the mall for dinner. There aren’t many great dining choices within walking distance, but the mall had a few restaurants. We don’t do food courts. This place was perfect for our stay.

A terrible stay. The staff were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, and it was clear they didn’t care about guests. At breakfast in the morning, nobody seemed interested in taking an egg order. They said they couldn’t make eggs with vegetables because they didn’t have them. Worst experience of my life.
