Port Selene Otel

We had a fantastic time here. The rooms were clean, and the friendly staff were always ready to help with whatever we needed. We highly recommend it as a place to stay.

I came over from England and found this a lovely little hotel in a small, welcoming community. At first glance it looks like an average place that does most things right, but the customer service really goes beyond what I’ve experienced at other hotels. The owner is busy, yet he’s on hand whenever you need him, day or night. You get the sense that no request is too big or too small. He runs things in good faith, and it’s a shame that a few people take advantage of that, though it doesn’t seem to shake his faith in people. The hotel was a great resource for local knowledge, helping us get the best prices on pretty much anything we wanted. The owner also has a restaurant on the beachfront, a 10 minute walk away, which for some reason he doesn’t promote to hotel guests. It’s a great place, give it a go. From what the owner told me, it’s only going to get better.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel was very clean, close to the beach, and the manager was really friendly, as were the helpful staff. 😍

We had breakfast with watercress, peppers, arugula and more, freshly picked from the garden. It’s a family run hotel where the friendliness feels natural, and it’s a peaceful, relaxing place to stay. People like this are hard to find these days, but you can still find them at Port Selene and Gazipasa. Thank you, Port Selene family.
