Grand Sonmez Apart Hotel

We had enough room for a weekend stay, and the in-room pool was a good size. It’s also centrally located.

The apartment has 1+1 and 2+1 rooms, each with its own thermal pool, a kitchen and stove, free Wi-Fi, and central heating. It was 150 lira per room, but the only clean thing we found was the bed linen. The furniture was worn and dirty, and we didn’t use the pool because the conditions seemed unsanitary. Don’t expect hot tea either, the gas cylinders were empty. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you have no other choice, maybe you can manage one night, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend the apartment. I didn’t take photos because I just wanted to get out of that “hospitable” place as quickly as possible.

The staff were friendly, and for the price it worked well for us. We stayed two nights in a clean, spacious room with underfloor heating. There was a TV and Wi-Fi, plus a pot, kettle, plates, glasses, and a kitchen table. The pool was small, it felt full with three people in it.

The heating worked well, but the apartments could use more kitchenware. Ours had a pan, a few spoons, and one or two glasses, that was about it. The plumbing needs updating and some parts need replacing. There were broken chairs and sofa beds that were long overdue for replacement.
