The rest was fine, but the toilet was disgusting. When I reported it, they said the cleaner had already left, even though it was only 4:40 pm.

Cem, the owner, was very attentive. I was in Gebze on business and really enjoyed my stay at Ramada Encore Hotel. It was clean and felt reliable. Many thanks.

The rooms are modern and well equipped, and, as usual, Turkish people were friendly and gave good service. Some areas need repairs, though, and cigarette smoke came through from the next room even though mine was non-smoking. Gebze itself isn't a tourist attraction, so the location isn't a strong point for sightseeing. For a business trip in the area, it works fine. I do love Turkey.

The view was nice, and the hotel itself was pleasant. I stayed for six days, but breakfast felt repetitive. I found scrambled eggs just once. There was also a slight stink in the toilet, apparently from the bathroom siphon.

The breakfast buffet was good, but the plates were dirty several times. Room cleaning wasn't done properly either. The cleaners leave at 4 pm, so if you're resting and go out after that, your room won't get cleaned. It's decent otherwise.
