The only person I appreciated was the woman working in the breakfast room. The cleaners were loud and rude, and the rooms didn't live up to the hype. Don't be fooled by the building's exterior, I wouldn't give it more than three stars. On our first morning, just three tables were occupied at breakfast. That night I asked the young man at reception why I hadn't been given a sea view when the hotel wasn't full, and why my room was so dark. He only wagged his index finger at me. The cameras can be checked. I don't recommend it.

The apartment was generally clean and had a great view, and Gemlik is a lovely place. We were three people, so we stayed in an apartment while stopping in Gemlik for the first time on our way through. It's right on the seafront. Parking was the one issue: after leaving the car, we had to walk 100-150 meters, since cars aren't allowed on the beach.

The hotel manager, Ms. Burcu, and the friendly woman who made breakfast deserve special thanks. My wife and I stayed for four days in the last week of August, after I looked up Kerimbey Hotel online and was persuaded by the good reviews. I'd spent my holidays in Kumla for the previous five years but had never stayed there before. Cleanliness, hygiene, service and comfort, along with a decent breakfast spread, were all beyond what I'd expect from a 3-star hotel. We left satisfied, with no disappointment, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who's unsure.

The room had plenty of space for three and looked nice. We also had a good view, and the price seemed normal. Breakfast was included and was good.
