The Sign Esentepe&Ski Center

We were comfortable and happy the whole time. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it at every meal. It was a cute, clean, welcoming hotel for a wonderful family stay.

We especially liked taking a quiet walk in the nearby forest. The hotel is close to it and has lovely views of Gerede, with nature all around. Staff were very kind and helpful, and breakfast came with lots of tasty choices. A wonderful stay, highly recommend!

The view from the room window takes in the whole town and its green surroundings, and the rooms looked just like the pictures. The hotel sits high among trees that are more than 70 years old, with green, misty mountains all around; you can reach much of the scenery by car. It was actually clean throughout, from the pillows and sheets to the floors and bathroom. The staff were friendly and respectful, especially Mr. Tahir, the food and drink manager, who was kind, humble, and upbeat during our three days there. Nature lovers or anyone after a quiet break can find new mountain scenery within a 15-minute drive. For peace, views, nature, and warm hospitality, it’s well worth a visit. This is one of the few places I’ve stayed where the real thing was even better than the photos.

The staff were welcoming and very nice, and otherwise everything was perfect. From the balcony you can see the whole city, with a park and restaurants close enough to walk to. Since the hotel is on a high hill, the weather is pleasant, and the nights are cold even without AC in the rooms. I hope they’ll clean up the dead bugs in the corners of the lobby and restaurant windows. I didn’t find any in my room.
