Ionia Guest House

We spent a very enjoyable hour walking the farm lanes through olive groves from the property. It was beautiful and peaceful. The pool looked lovely too, and in warmer weather it could be a destination in itself, though we didn’t use it. Breakfasts were excellent, and we also had a delicious dinner at Ionia House. We originally planned one night at Ionia House on the way to Aphrodisias, but ended up staying six. After four weeks traveling around Turkey and staying in many lovely places, this became our favorite. The bungalow was comfortable, private, and spacious, with room to stretch out indoors or outside. The grounds were beautiful, and Jason and Sirem were cheerful, helpful, and capable hosts. Sometimes the best parts of a trip happen by chance. We made it our base for day trips to Aphrodisias, Magneseum-ad-Meander, Priene, Alibanda, Alinda, and Ephesus, as well as Sirince and the Dilek Peninsula. All were very doable trips. We didn’t get to Miletus or Didyma, so maybe next time. It was a comfortable home to return to after each day of exploring.

The rural setting was quiet and gave us a chance to recharge from busy life. Each room opens onto a little private courtyard, surrounded by lush greenery that adds to the peaceful, secluded feel. There’s also a lovely pool, with two cozy nooks furnished with cushions and tables where you can relax in extra privacy. We had a wonderful stay in Jason and Sirem’s guest house. They’re lovely people and warm, caring hosts, and we enjoyed seeing how much they care for the cats, dogs, and other creatures. The food was delicious, and the rooms were cozy, clean, and tastefully furnished. A perfect stay!

A wonderful secluded, peaceful spot with great hosts. The amenities were flawless, and the pool was very clean. It’s pet friendly and a great fit if you have cats or dogs. Free parking and breakfast were included. Mrs. Sirem and her husband were just perfect. 1000% recommended!

The peaceful countryside views on our first morning added a little magic, and everyday stresses felt far away. The photos looked lovely, but the place was even better in person. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Jason and Sirem are wonderful hosts who really want guests to have the best holiday possible. They went above and beyond to make our stay great, and their advice and recommendations were always spot on. There’s not much to add to the other reviews, this really is a gem. I wish there were places like it wherever we went on holiday!
