Gerze Beyaz Yalı Tatil Evi Private house

We came across this house by chance while touring the Western Black Sea region with my wife and children. Mr. Uğur and his wife welcomed us into a spotless home, from the sheets and bathroom to the toilet and kitchen. They were very friendly hosts, too. I'd stay here without hesitation when visiting Sinop or nearby. Thanks for everything.

The owners were kind, and they even offered us bagels one morning. The garden is lovely, though there were lots of insects. Still, the house itself was the main problem: the furniture was very old, there was a really strong musty smell, and the toilets had no ventilation, which was a big issue. The house is in a beautiful spot, right across from the sea as shown in the photos, but you have to walk a bit to reach the beach. The water is very rocky and not very suitable for swimming. Would I go back? NO.

In Gerze, this is our first choice for a lovely family holiday, and we're already looking forward to seeing you in July, Mr. Uğur! We had a great time with the barbecue and meals in the garden. Mr. Uğur and his wife look after guests themselves and sort out any problems right away. The location and the owner's attentiveness make this one of the best places to stay. Some furniture has deliberately been kept rather than replaced to preserve the historical character of the area and building.

We spent a lovely time in the garden, and the sunrise and moonrise over the sea were priceless to watch. It's a sweet, modest house that fits in with Gerze's historic feel. If you're after a quiet, peaceful holiday, I'd choose this place without hesitation. Many thanks to Uğur for his care and attention.
