The sheets were fairly clean, and I really liked the colorful duvet covers. Breakfast was decent, though served in a disorganized, tiny lobby-like space. The toilet seat was broken, and the bathroom was so narrow that one person could barely fit on the toilet. The only good thing is the location. The Google photos made it look like a Milan boutique hotel, but the price-performance ratio was zero for me. The rooms are just 12 m², with barely enough space for the bed, and we could hardly stand. Getting our suitcases in and out was exhausting. You also have to carry them up a high staircase to enter, since there’s no elevator. I’ve stayed in hotels for years and never felt this bad after paying so much.

Having breakfast out in the garden was lovely, and the female staff were very friendly and kind. There wasn’t much choice or quantity at breakfast, though. We booked for one night based on the reviews and were satisfied. The hotel was very clean and in a great location. We got the smallest room because nothing else was available, but I’m sure the other rooms are bigger. Cleanliness mattered most to us.

Dolunay Guleryüz, the owner, has a wonderful way with her guests, and I’m very grateful to her. The location, view, and easy access to the beach are magnificent. Everything was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were attentive. I’d visited once before and wanted to come back, so I did. The Güleryuz Hotel in Gerze, Sinop, shares the same name as the hotel.

The rooms are spacious, parking is easy, and the air conditioning works well. The location and view are excellent, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast is good, too. A slightly bigger bathroom would be nice, and they’re planning an elevator. The road to the front is closed, so you have to lift the railings by hand to get through.

We stayed two days and had a wonderful time. The cleanliness, attentive service, friendliness, and engaging conversation made it a great stay. It’s a fantastic hotel in a magnificent location, and it’s now our only stop when we visit Gerze. A huge thank you to Dolunay. We hope to see you again.
