Huseyin Hotel

The sea views are world-class, and the rooms feel as inviting as the owner. Huseyin Otel is a great place to stay in Giresun, with good local food nearby. It began as a restaurant, so you don't have to go far for a meal. We highly recommend staying here.

The room was beautiful and clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff are friendly, though there’s no English, so you have to manage without it. The new building has a few unfortunate mistakes, but they won’t matter to customers, I hope they can fix them.

After booking through Pronto Tour, we got there at 6 pm and still had to wait for the rooms. About 30 other people and we were left exhausted in a tiny reception area while they got them ready. The rooms are very old, and breakfast was poor, just enough to fill your stomach. I don’t think I’ll return.

We weren’t happy with the dinner or the service, and there’s just one elevator, which felt pretentious and moved slowly. When we mentioned the speed among ourselves, a staff “gentleman” nearly threw us out. The way he treated us felt like being in a concentration camp, as if people were supposed to accept that kind of treatment. It’s hard to understand. The hotel is a bit noisy on the main road and far from the city. Still, my fellow Black Sea people can be tense, but they’re good-natured.
