Just keep in mind that Göcek has no beach. You’ll need to drive somewhere else, unless you’re willing to pay 1200 Liras to use D-resort sandy beach. It’s beautiful, but way overpriced. The apartments themselves are lovely, quiet, and family-friendly, with a pool that’s never busy and plenty of parking outside. It’s also a short walk to the lovely town of Göcek.

Gocek Rentals made us feel like intruders, with little respect or support, and we were charged for everything. Try to avoid dealing with them as much as possible. The administrator, Alper, was rude when we rented an apartment in June. We got it very dirty, then were made to pay 50 euro for cleaning and a 250 euro guarantee. Alper said that if we didn’t like it, he could return our money and we could find another apartment. At checkout he delayed returning the guarantee so long we nearly missed our flight back, and he also “forgot” the remaining 20 euro. The location is nice, but the administrator is a jerk, and the whole experience put me in the wrong mood for a vacation.

Alper was a pleasure to deal with and really looked after us as guests. The apartments were nice and cozy, close to both the sea and Göcek center.

We had a fantastic two-week holiday here, the most relaxing one I’ve ever had. The harbour is absolutely lovely, and I’d highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely visit again.
