Kybele Hotel

Breakfast was a highlight of our two days at Kybele Hotel: a traditional Turkish feast of delicious homemade, locally sourced dishes, served in the sunny garden anytime from 8am to 11am. We’d never had anything quite like it, and it was included in the price. The room was cleaned every day, and the whole hotel, garden, and pool were spotless. Our room, 103 on the first floor, was bright and charming, with a picture window looking over the pool and mountains. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, and nothing seemed too much trouble. We felt like part of the family. We arrived before check-in and were invited to relax by the pool in the lovely garden, with complimentary tea, coffee, and water, plus some friendly cats. On departure day, check-out was at 12pm, but our airport taxi wasn’t due until 6.15pm. We left our cases in a secure room and could come and go until it was time to leave. We chose the Kybele after researching hotels for our two days in Göcek. The reviews were excellent, it was conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from town, and it looked pretty in the photos. It exceeded our expectations by far. We booked through an agent this time, but next time we’ll book directly with the Kybele, which benefits both the guests and the hotel. We loved Göcek and had a fabulous stay at the Kybele. Now that we’re home, we miss waking up to the sunlit mountains and the rustic sound of nearby roosters. If you like an authentic family-run boutique hotel with warm hospitality and a personal touch, we wholeheartedly recommend the Kybele.

The breakfast was the highlight of my stay. It was absolutely delicious and made for a lovely start to the day. I recently stayed at this charming little hotel and had such a delightful time. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality set the tone. The rooms are cozy and incredibly comfortable, with clear attention to detail throughout. It’s a homely place that brings together comfort and good food, just right for a relaxing getaway.

The pool is lovely, the place is very clean, and the beds and pillows are comfortable. Breakfasts are amazing, and the hospitality is outstanding. The owner and his family work so hard to make sure guests have the best experience, and they really can’t do enough for you. It’s good value too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

A peaceful place with clean, spacious rooms and a fabulous breakfast. We had a great first-night stay after arriving late in our hire car, with a straightforward 20-minute drive from Dalaman airport.
