Alayli Apart Otel

The apartment is centrally located, which can be handy, and the garden is a lovely spot to relax in during the evening. The owners are attentive, sincere, and create a welcoming atmosphere through their service. It may not be ideal for couples, but works for families and larger groups. I’d expect the comfort and service to be mid-range.

Alaylı Apart Hotel is in a quiet, peaceful part of Gökçeada, with Wi-Fi throughout the property and free parking. We had a wonderful stay: everything was clean, the location was excellent, and parking was no problem. It operates as an apart-hotel and seems to have thought through details for guests’ comfort. Each apartment has a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, towels, and free toiletries, plus a balcony, fridge, desk, tea and coffee maker, wardrobe, air conditioning, stove, telephone, satellite TV, and iron. It’s open all year, and the 24-hour reception can help with wake-up calls, car rental, laundry, room cleaning, doctor services, extra beds, pharmacy needs, and grocery shopping.

The price is reasonable, and the garden is suitable for children. You can barbecue there too. But there were unused items scattered around that could be dangerous for kids. The room needed more attention to hygiene, with cobwebs and no towels. They should take cleanliness more seriously.

There’s no air conditioning, though a north-facing room doesn’t really need it. It’s quiet and has a barbecue area, and the kitchen, fridge, dishes, and the rest are adequate. During peak season, on holidays and weekends, road noise can be bothersome. The guesthouse owner who turns on the lights while people barbecue is a sweetheart :) 4 stars :)
