Leb-i Derya Pansiyon

The sea-view terrace and roomy, carefully designed rooms make Leb-i Derya Pension feel welcoming. It's peaceful right by the water, and the service is friendly. Waking up to the waves and watching the sunset colors in the evening made the stay memorable. A lovely escape if you want to unwind and be close to nature.

The guesthouse is in Uğurlu village, and after seeing many villages, we felt it was in the best location. Exploring the village is especially lovely if you want some quiet. The view is amazing, even a coffee there feels recharging. The rooms were clean and air-conditioned, with a spacious, breezy balcony. There are two taps at the entrance to wash the sand off your feet after the sea. Our only small drawback was having to go up the stairs to do laundry since there wasn't a washing machine in the room. Still, the place is so warm and inviting that it barely bothered us. Finding a quality guesthouse was the hardest part of planning our Gökçeada trip, and after all our research we couldn't have found somewhere more beautiful. Ms. Berfu delighted us from the moment we arrived. We'd absolutely return and recommend it. Wishing everyone a lovely holiday! ⛱️

It's a family-run place, and you can feel the warmth and friendliness. I've been here for three years in a row after finding it by chance, and I fell in love with it. We've stayed on the ground floor with my dog, a female Labrador mix, first on my own, then with my family, and most recently with friends. We've always had a great time. The island and sea views make breakfast and dinner especially lovely, and they can prepare a barbecue if you like. My dog once left a toy behind, and they kept it safe because they knew I'd be back. She was so happy to get it again. I also have wonderful chats with Ms. Berfu, and it feels like we're already friends. The guesthouse is at one end of the island, which works for us: it's close to Laz Bay, with the quiet Hidden Harbor right there, away from the bustle. The villages on the hill and the center are 20-30 minutes away. The air smells so fresh, and you wake up surrounded by green and sea blue. Vildan Hanım has made a magnificent garden with that lovely sea detail. Sometimes when she's watering, I ask her to cool me down too, and then we play in the water, haha. There's always a warm moment to be had at this animal-loving place. I'm so glad I met you and that you exist. Much love.

The cleanliness and lovely views at Leb-i Derya Pension made it feel as if we'd been coming for years, and our family felt right at home. It was our first time visiting Gökçeada, and we're so glad we happened upon this place by chance. We were all very pleased and are looking forward to coming back.
