Rumeli Apart Hotel

I booked a room at Rumeli Apartment on the morning of July 15th and sent a deposit in advance. We were stuck in an eight-hour ferry queue that day and couldn’t get to Gökçeada. Our baby got sick in the car, so we went back to Istanbul. I called Rumeli Apartment to explain. I didn’t even ask for my deposit back, since I didn’t want to put them in a difficult position. They gave the room to someone else, so they weren’t affected, but still won’t refund the deposit. Now, even though someone else stayed in the room, they’re asking me for my Turkish ID number. Absolutely outrageous.

The rooms were clean, and the linens smelled fresh. We felt right at home and had an unforgettable holiday at Rumeli Apart in Gökçeada. Many thanks to Ms. Gülsen and Mr. Onur. We hope to see you again…

Gökçeada was a first for us, and we loved it. Its lovely beaches, taverns, and Greek taverns made us feel like we were on the Greek islands. We’ll be back again and again, and Rumeli Apart will be our first choice for somewhere to stay. So glad we met you. Lots of love from the ŞENEL family. We were a family of four and were very comfortable in the one-bedroom apartment for our 3-night, 4-day stay. It had a roomy, breezy balcony, tasteful decor, and was exceptionally clean. The washing machine, built-in oven, and stove made it feel like home. The owner, Gülsen, is a very kind, sociable Istanbulite who discovered Gökçeada 30 years ago and established Rumeli Apart. We’re leaving today, happy with every part of our stay.

We went as a group of five and were really pleased. It’s one of the cleanest apartments you’ll find in Gökçeada. Ms. Gülsen was warm and chatty, while Mr. Onur was attentive and helpful with everything, so we felt like we were staying with family. Thanks to them both. I definitely recommend it, I’m sure you’ll be happy ❤️
