Ucarogullari Otel

I wouldn’t recommend this place. For two people, the price is above the going rate, yet the rooms don’t have much comfort or luxury. It’s disappointing to see people trying to help heal the wounds left by the earthquake, while some seem to be taking advantage of the situation.

I’ve been coming here for years, and the attentive, friendly service keeps me looking forward to my next visit. From the terrace there’s a lovely view toward Çataltepe, even though the restaurant itself is easy to miss beside a gas station. The menu has plenty of chicken, lamb, and beef, with excellent-quality meat cooked fresh over charcoal and served with salad and rice. And the lentil soup is unbeatable. I don’t think you’ll find a better one anywhere in Anatolia. Greetings from Stuttgart!

The staff are friendly and helpful. For what I paid, the rooms were cleaner and tidier than I expected, so it felt like very good value.

I arrived with some prejudice, but after seeing the area where the hotel is located and the Fiat, I found that its biggest plus was how clean it was.
