I booked because of the online reviews, but I came away thinking they seriously misrepresent this place. It felt more like a budget hostel than a hotel, even though you won't find anything else in the area at this price. Our room was cramped and run down, with peeling wallpaper, odd stains on the walls, several bugs, and not much cleanliness. I could feel every spring in the bed. We were there for a friend's wedding. She said the owners had told her renovations were happening, but everything we saw looked old and in poor shape. I also doubt the reviews are real, though that's just my impression. Some of the flaws might have been forgivable, but the owner's response to criticism was in poor taste. One friend got frustrated over how the key situation was being handled, and the hotel replied that they don't usually accommodate wedding guests. That was a bizarre way to treat a group of more than 12 people who had booked there and hadn't made a fuss about all the other problems.

I reported the problems to reception right away, but nothing was fixed during my three-night stay. There was an ant trail and spiders in the room, the hairdryer didn't work, and only one of the two small bedroom lights came on. The shower head was old and barely worked too. They only give you one key per room, so each morning you have to ask housekeeping and leave it at reception. I found that inconvenient. Breakfast was €5 a day, but it was just a small selection served on a plate, not the proper breakfast I'd expected. The stay was a letdown and didn't feel worth the price.

The staff were accommodating, and the location was fine, but I was locked out of my room for hours on the first night because there was no master key and something was wrong with the room. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathrooms had mold, and it didn't feel worth the money, especially beside the fancier hotels nearby. I hope they renovate the rooms and get a master key for future guests.

It felt like a home away from home. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and laid-back. It's central, but still quiet, with no loud noise. I'd recommend it highly.

The staff were so kind and friendly, and the location was really good. Best place in Bodrum for me, highly recommend it! I'd happily come back and am already looking forward to another visit. 🙌🏾😳
