Golkoy Suites Boutique Hotel

At the daytime beach cafe, service was very poor. We asked for our order again and again, even up to 10 times, and it either never came or arrived incomplete. We weren’t happy with the food, apart from the gözleme (Turkish flatbread). Even after several days, they didn’t seem to recognize customers. They also said we hadn’t paid the bill. When we complained, the response was something ridiculous like, “you won’t come again.” That made their attitude toward customer satisfaction pretty clear.

The business has changed hands, and the service is now very poor. We’d only been there for an hour when the manager sent a young waiter to tell us we needed to spend more because we hadn’t eaten enough. We calmly asked if that wasn’t a bit early to say, and explained there was still time for us to eat and drink more. At checkout, they then claimed we hadn’t paid the bill, even though I’d paid in cash the day before. That’s when I lost my temper. They replied rudely, “You won’t come again, sir,” and acted arrogantly.

The best hotel and beach on the Bodrum peninsula by far. It’s kept its standards for years, with experienced, friendly staff and an incredibly delicious menu. Definitely a 10/10.

The beach is worth recommending. The sea is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the prices seem reasonable given how things are in Bodrum this season.
