I’m sharing my brother’s experience at Alaturca House Hotel. He reserved two adjoining rooms for his children, aged 9 and 10, and the receptionist confirmed both when booking and at check-in that they would be next to each other. Instead, they were at opposite ends of the hallway, so he felt he couldn’t keep the children there and left right away. The hotel charged the full amount for both nights. It was fully booked that evening, so it seems quite possible the room was rented again for the second night, meaning the same service was paid for twice. He made several attempts to sort this out, but the hotel has not acknowledged the mistake or offered a refund. It was a deeply disappointing experience and showed, in my view, a serious lack of professionalism, ethics, and respect for guests. I’m posting this to inform future travelers.

I spent three nights here and would happily return. The terrace was wonderful, and the hotel is well located while still being quiet. Everything was kept perfectly clean. The staff were pleasant, respectful, and very helpful, and breakfast was excellent. I had a wonderful time.

My stay at Alaturca House was very disappointing. The management was unreliable and completely unprofessional. Bookings weren’t honored, staff communication was poor, and nobody made an effort to fix the mistakes they had made. If you want to avoid needless stress and disappointment, I strongly recommend another hotel.

We picked the stone deluxe room and loved how special it felt. I have a severe egg allergy, and the two employees preparing breakfast made me a separate dish so I’d have some variety. Most of the breakfast is homemade, and it was amazing. The terrace was incredible for watching the sunrise. The host and employees went out of their way for us throughout the stay. Thanks for such a great visit!

The little keychain they gave us at checkout was such a sweet gesture. We had a lovely two-night stay at Alaturka House in Göreme: the staff were very welcoming, the rooms cozy and comfortable, and breakfast delicious. They also arranged our tours perfectly. Highly recommend for a memorable Cappadocia trip.
