Antique Terrace Suites

We slept well in quiet, cool rooms, and there was parking. The hotel is calm and conveniently near Goreme's main road, though getting around inside may be difficult for some because there are lots of stairs. Its view of Goreme at breakfast is breathtaking, and the meal itself is amazing with plenty of options. The place is gorgeous, rooms are spacious, and the bed is comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. Our jacuzzi didn't work on any day of the stay. The staff tried to help, though it took a while, and once it was clear they couldn't fix it, we received a partial refund.

The terrace is a lovely spot to watch the hot air balloons, and the hotel can help arrange excursions if you ask them. We could walk to food, coffee, and cliffs for sunset, so the location was amazing. Our room was clean, had everything we needed, and was warm even though it was cold when we arrived. Breakfast in the morning was delicious.

Customer service was very poor. When I raised an accessibility issue on Whatsapp, the staff wouldn't work with me to resolve it. They also didn't reply to an Expedia agent who tried to contact the hotel and sort it out.

The room was a good size, and the terrace view was great. They really live up to the name, with antique items in the room. But several problems brought my rating down by two stars. We specifically booked a jacuzzi room, but its knob was broken, so we couldn't use it. I couldn't tell where the water was leaking from, but after showering there was water all over the floor. There was no AC, which is usual in a cave hotel, so after a hot or warm shower the room got humid and we had to leave the door open. The staff provided a table fan when asked. There's no lift, so good luck with luggage if you're on the second or third floor. Customer service wasn't the best, and we often struggled to find the receptionist when we needed something. Last thing, shop around in the market for activities. Hotel prices are always high. I found an ATV tour in the market that was 30% cheaper than the price quoted at the hotel.
