Aura Cave Suits

The room was lovely, the hotel was clean, and breakfast was good. What really made the stay for us was how kind and helpful Mehmet and the rest of the staff were. They made us feel at home. Thanks for the warm hospitality, Mehmet. If we return to Cappadocia, we’ll stay here again. Tania & Filippo

Breakfast was nice, and the owners were hospitable. They even let us use the kitchen to make our own meal. The room was clean, but it looked like it had not had a proper deep clean in a while, especially the shower and the cobwebs. The poor lighting and floor color may make the dirt hard to notice. The terrace is pleasant, though much lower than terraces at nearby hotels. If you want a clear balloon view for photos, another place may suit you better, since roofs, barrels, and water heaters block parts of the view. We were in room 6, directly below the terrace, and other guests had a barbecue there at night. Every sound carried downstairs, especially the scraping of metal table and chair legs. I asked twice for quiet, but the owner was part of the gathering and serving people, and did not respond. A Turkish woman at the barbecue then verbally attacked me, saying she had paid and had the right to enjoy herself. The party went on until 1 a.m. I felt we had lost our right to rest. Avoid rooms 6 and 7. There is no parking, and I wonder how guests manage with the narrow streets during the busiest season. I would not choose this place again. When we left, another owner apologized.

The cave rooms are a fun experience, and the terrace has a good view. It’s a lovely little hotel with a nice atmosphere, and the staff were helpful. Everything was clean too.

The interior is beautiful and the rooms feel cozy. It’s close to the main fairy chimneys, and for the price this is one of the best hotels around. I’d recommend it.
