Cappadocia Cave Lodge Hotel

It was easy to walk to the nearby shops from this hotel, and the location worked perfectly for us. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel itself was beautiful, with stunning rooms, and every staff member was generous and kind. They kept checking that we were comfortable and made the visit special. I’d recommend staying here.

The hotel made arranging airport transfers and excursions, including a hot air balloon ride and horseback riding, so much easier. I was genuinely sad to leave, especially after befriending one of the local cats, batman. The sweet little puppy at reception was lovely too. We visited in December during the off season, and one morning we were the only guests. They cooked us a personalized Turkish breakfast spread that I’m still dreaming about. The breakfast buffet was delicious and came with an unreal view. The staff were unbelievably kind. Our cave room was spotless and comfortable, and the rooftop had a gorgeous unobstructed view since the hotel is near the top of town. Shops, cafes, and restaurants were less than a five-minute walk away. With so many cave lodges and hotels in Cappadocia, I’m so glad we chose Cappadocia Cave Lodge.

Getting to the hotel can be a little confusing because the access roads in Cappadocia are narrow, but the place and experience more than make up for it. The early morning view of the hot air balloons was unforgettable. Inside, the classic cave look, stone rooms, and vintage-style furniture made me feel cozy and at home. It even reminded me of my grandmother’s house, in the nicest way. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom quite clean, and the hot and cold water both worked perfectly. Breakfast was satisfying, with a good selection. I especially liked the butter and cheeses. The coffee wasn’t perfect, but it was fine and enjoyable enough to start the day. A unique, charming stay, and I’d recommend Cappadocia Cave Lodge to anyone visiting Cappadocia.

The hotel is small, with only 9 rooms, so it never felt crowded. From the hillside terrace the balloons came so close, and they even brought tea while we watched the sunrise. Breakfast was incredible, a beautiful Turkish buffet with lots of cheeses and olives. The staff were so sweet and made us feel welcome. They helped arrange all our tours and transport, did our laundry, and provided free bottled water. The dog is super cute, and the new puppy is adorable too. I’d love to come back!
