Do not stay here. We were asked to pay cash when we arrived, which was a big mistake on my part. I asked for a receipt and was told they’d give me one the next day. The room wasn’t very clean, and the sheets had a fine layer of sand. That night I was very itchy and found I had seven bed bug bites. I killed a bug, leaving a stain, then showed the bites and stain at reception. They said I was lying. Much later, they offered me 20 euro on the condition that I not take a receipt. I said I needed proof of payment and asked if a picture would be okay. He agreed, but after I took the picture he tucked the money away. I realized it was a scam. He then canceled my airport shuttle and went outside to smoke, leaving me stranded when I had a flight to catch. Terrible place, save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere. Update: I had left earlier that day, and just got an email from booking.com saying I had not checked in the day before. That’s what I suspected after they made us pay in cash and tried to take back the receipt.

The rooftop at Göreme Palace Cave Suite was a great spot for pictures and taking in the view. Our cave-style room was cozy and distinctive, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. Khan (Mucahit) deserves special thanks for going out of his way to help us arrange a hot air balloon ride. It was unforgettable. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cappadocia.

The guys gave excellent service, and the rooms were very nice. It’s close to everything, and the Turkish terrace has comfortable seats and a great view of the balloons. The dogs smell quite a lot, though. Breakfast isn’t buffet style, they bring it to your table, as in my photo. I booked a room with a jacuzzi, but it was really just a bath with bubbles, nothing special. I wouldn’t choose it again. The chuaua dog is the cutest ever.

Erol and Mücahit made us feel like we were staying with friends, with local tips, help arranging tours, and lovely conversations. Their hospitality made the stay unforgettable, and I’d come back someday. The rooms had an authentic cave design and were comfortable and clean. The location was quiet but still within walking distance of the town center and great viewpoints. ♥️♥️

This is a lovely cave hotel in the center of Goreme, with shops and restaurants easy to reach on foot. The owners were lovely and gave us useful trip advice, then booked the trips for very fair prices. Breakfast was excellent, and the rooftop terrace has a real 360-degree view. A great place to relax in the evening.
