Nomads Cave Hotel & Rooftop

We came for breakfast every day for three days, even though our hotel wasn't very close. hacer and Arda made Turkish eggs we absolutely loved. The breakfast room is bright and has a lovely view, the staff are so friendly, and the price is excellent. We loved it here.

The balloon ride booking was the worst part. We felt scammed and ended up cancelling, even though the balloon ride was the main reason we came to the city. I'd arrange excursions or a balloon ride through local street agencies instead. The room didn't match what we'd booked online, and loud music and street traffic kept us awake all night. Earplugs were on the beds when we arrived, which should have been a warning, but none of that noise had been mentioned when booking. The toilet wouldn't flush properly, and rather than fix it, the staff gave us a small bucket to use. The water stopped several times too. They said the whole city was without water, but nearby restaurants told us that wasn't true. Breakfast was very limited. We were told they would refill things when they ran out, but the staff paid little attention and seemed not to care. From the moment we arrived, they acted annoyed we were there and stayed unfriendly and unhelpful throughout. A very disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The location made everything easy, right in central Göreme with transport, shops, and restaurants close by. They also collect you from reception for booked activities. We had a wonderful four days at the hotel, a special time for my wife and me, and the staff made it even better. They were kind, quick to respond, and always found a solution when something came up. Our room felt like a real cave while still having modern comforts, and it was a pleasure to stay in. The restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices, lovely views, and friendly service. We also enjoyed the arts and crafts workshops. One idea for next time: a hookah on the terrace would suit how peaceful it feels there. We'd love to come back soon. Thanks for everything.

The Turkish breakfast was filling and really good, and there was a cute cat family on the terrace. Even the basic room has a cave-style design, one of the main reasons to stay in Goreme. The staff were humble, warm, and happy to help with anything. You're right downtown, with quick access to sunset point. A perfect stay for the budget.
