Tekkaya Cave Hotel

The property is stunning, and the room exceeded our expectations. We also loved the high-quality buffet breakfast, with its authentic Turkish food. As a family of three traveling from Qatar with our 2-year-old, our plans were disrupted by the regional situation. Tekkaya accommodated several date changes and even upgraded our room at no extra cost when we arrived. Duygu and Mehmet were lovely and went out of their way to make the visit memorable. They shared local tips and helped arrange activities, so everything went smoothly both at the hotel and around Cappadocia. Tekkaya reflects the best of Cappadocia and Turkish hospitality. We highly recommend it and wish the fantastic team continued success.

The location made it easy to get around central Goreme on foot, but being just off the main street meant quiet nights. We visited in March and appreciated how warm the rooms stayed when it was chilly outside. They were clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the showers had lovely hot water. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were provided. The rooftop terrace was a great place to watch the balloons rise at sunrise. Breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of choices and eggs or omelettes cooked fresh to order. Duygu was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English. Our group of six all thought Tekkaya Cave Hotel was wonderful. One night we ate at the sister restaurant LaLinda. We weren't curry fans, so skipped the Indian restaurant. LaLinda had a broad food and drink menu, gave us a 10% discount, and had very helpful, attentive staff. We'd certainly stay here again and recommend it to others.

The host let us check in a couple of hours early and gave us lots of ideas for things to do in Cappadocia. We really enjoyed our stay and the location. The hotel is conveniently close to Goreme city centre, so nearby shops and cafes are easy to reach on foot. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Goreme.
