Aza Cave Hotel Special Class

The pool was gorgeous, and everything was very well maintained. The hotel itself is stunning, and the breakfast was superb, with lots of freshly made things to try. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. They communicated quickly and efficiently both in person and on WhatsApp. It’s an easy walk into the centre of Goereme, and airport and trip pickups were very easy. 10/10, highly recommend.

The staff were polite and welcoming, and the hotel has a beautiful atmosphere with lovely outdoor views. Those were the good parts. For what we paid, though, the stay was disappointing, with serious problems in the room, noise, cleanliness, and information we were given. The King room we received was expensive and directly above the restaurant. From early in the day until about 11:30 PM, intense vibration came up from below. It was uncomfortable even for a few minutes, and guests should be told about this beforehand. The bathtub kept draining instead of holding water, and the shower head sprayed in every direction, making it inconvenient to use. Between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, dogs in the hotel area barked loudly and continuously, making sleep impossible. There was also a noticeable unpleasant cat smell on the furniture, especially on the balcony. I chose this hotel partly for the heated pool and asked reception about the water temperature before arriving. They assured me it would be warm, but it was cold and completely unusable. Being given misleading information to attract guests is very disappointing and unacceptable.

The friendly, helpful staff were always smiling and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Turkey. Everything felt perfect.

We were allowed to take wedding photos at the hotel, which was so kind and lovely. The place itself is beautiful to look at, and we regret not taking more pictures inside. On checkout day, the manager offered us a free ride to the bus station so we wouldn’t have to carry our suitcases all the way downhill. A special thank you to him, Mr. tuna, I hope I got the name right, for his gratitude and professionalism. Our two-night stay at Aza Cave was for four of us, me, my wife, and my parents, and it was amazing, beyond what we expected. The manager heard we were on our honeymoon and upgraded our rooms to Deluxe Queen Type for free. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, with an overwhelmingly comfortable bed. The food was tasty and came just in time to feed us while our wedding photos were being shot. The hotel cats were bold and adorable, and made the stay more fun. We took lots of pictures of them. The bathroom water heating wasn’t very stable, but the bathtub worked well, so we let it pass. I still hope management will pay attention to it.
