Dimet Park Hotel

It worked for me as an ordinary place to stay, which was all I expected. The location is strategic, and the reception guys were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but there was no coffee or milk, and the rooms hadn’t been cleaned carefully. There was a lot of lobby noise, which bothered guests on the first floor. I was surprised to find a safe in the closet.

Right in the heart of the city, this is a good budget hotel. Breakfast is free. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, so if you’re coming in summer, book a fan ahead of time.

The staff were kind and respectful, but the hotel doesn’t seem to have kept up its cleanliness. Dirty beds and sheets kept me from sleeping properly, and I didn’t feel comfortable sitting anywhere. Most room windows face walls, so there’s basically no view. The Wi-Fi is so weak that in the evening, when people come back to the hotel, you can hardly get online. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We’ve stayed in more than 150 hotels, and this one was the worst. The place was dirty, with old, damaged equipment, kitchen paper in place of toilet paper, and very poor Wi-Fi. The staff didn’t speak any language besides Turkish. We’d prepaid and arrived too late to switch hotels, so that was the only reason we stayed. The attached photos show just how unbelievable the condition was.
