Queen's Park Göynük - All Inclusive

The lovely, well-kept grounds have stunning mountain views. Staff were polite, our room was cleaned to a high standard, and there was a wide range of food every day. Those were real strengths of the hotel. Our family’s stay was also overshadowed by serious health concerns. We got food poisoning, and later learned there had been a rotavirus outbreak at the hotel. Guests weren’t informed, there were no sanitizers or hygiene checks at the buffet entrance, and no one took responsibility. The hotel doctor gave us neither medication nor guidance, so we had to go to a pharmacy or hospital ourselves. There were other comfort and maintenance issues as well. Our room was very cold at night, and warmer blankets would have been appreciated. The tennis court is charged separately, yet the rackets provided were dirty and broken. Wi-Fi felt outdated and inconvenient: you have to pay for access on each device, and even the free lobby connection barely worked. Service carts carrying dishes and cleaning supplies were very loud and often passed by as early as 6 AM. They need to be replaced or improved. The hotel has some good points and potential, but guests’ health and comfort need to be taken much more seriously.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, which we visited in August 2025. The food, service, cleanliness, politeness, and sea were all perfect, but the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The reception staff were completely rude, and although the hotel is rated five stars, I wouldn’t give it more than two or three. The rooms were very old and need reconstruction. In room 337, the bathroom extractor didn’t work, there was a smell in the bathroom, and the towel hanger was broken. The dance group seemed amateur. As a dancer, I could see that one performer wasn’t as good as the others. Out of all the hotel staff, at most two or three people spoke English. What I hated most was how dominant Russian seemed to be. There were Russian songs, music, dancing, and language everywhere, even though tourists come from all over. It was excessive. Staff at the pool bar were so rude that I have no comment. I was looking for something colorful for the kids, something they could look at in amazement. There are other hotels at this price.

The people here are what make the place worthwhile. The Kids club entertainment team was the best part, and I rate the hotel higher because of them. Thank you, Marina, Zilan, and Elvira. The rest of the entertainment team put on generally good night shows, though it felt awkward that they had to eat with the guests and weren’t allowed to eat by themselves. There’s a coffee house open all day, a good range of non-alcoholic cocktails, and a separate beer bar. Getting to the sea is easy, nobody bothers you with offers or tries to sell things, and the playground is always open. The ice cream is decent and available most of the time. The location is good, with things to do nearby. The rooms are small, and some things are broken; the hotel needs renovation. Food choice is limited, especially at breakfast, though what they do serve isn’t bad. Compared with other hotels, the waiters don’t really notice you, so service feels more like a four-star place. Overall, it has more of a four-star than five-star feel, but for the right price it could be a great choice. The people make up for a lot.

I came all the way from the US for my first-ever trip to Türkiye, not knowing what to expect. The hotel was super and didn’t disappoint. Everything felt fresh and clean, from the rooms to the service, and the food was top-notch. It didn’t lack anything and was perfect for families with children. I have nothing negative to say. A big thank-you to the staff and owners for doing such an amazing job managing the place! ☺️
