We had a truly relaxing holiday during the last week of April. The sea was beautiful and turquoise, and we went for a swim every day, even though it was a little cold that month. The inside pool had just opened; it was lovely and very warm. The hamam was lovely too, and the finish sauna was very hot. The ultra all-inclusive deal felt like incredible value, covering everything from food and drinks to cocktails, animation, night shows, and the spa. Our cleaning lady was especially sweet. She surprised our child with different towel animals while cleaning the room. Thanks to the whole team!

The grounds are beautiful, the beach is lovely, and the location is decent, but those were the only positives for us. We stayed from 29th October until 7th November as a family of three, with our 15-year-old “man-child,” and the trouble started on the first evening. This doesn’t feel like a five-star hotel. We were first put in the main building. The so-called air conditioning was actually central heating set to one temperature throughout the hotel, so our room was far too hot and we couldn’t adjust it. It had only been prepared for two, leaving us short of towels, glasses, and drinks. Reception gave us fans, which barely helped. After a sleepless night, we spoke to the receptionist again and moved to the Residence building. That room had independent air conditioning that worked properly, was quickly set up for three, and was much nicer. We hadn’t realized the season was ending, which was our mistake, but the reduced service and facilities were very noticeable. All the à la carte restaurants were closed. We accept we should have checked, but if a hotel is open, taking paying guests, and charging premium rates, we feel those facilities should be available. The buffet restaurant was nowhere near what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. Tables were often uncleared or not set, glassware and crockery were frequently dirty or cracked, and the coffee machines displayed “cleaning required” for most of our stay, seven out of nine days. Food was generally poor: lukewarm, lacking variety, often dry and tasteless. Service was another major letdown. I’ve never stayed at a supposed five-star hotel where so many staff seemed uninterested in guests or their work. We waited a long time for drinks while staff chatted, used their phones, or weren’t around. By mid-afternoon, our small poolside table would be piled with empty cups. Even when someone passed with a trolley, they’d collect one or two and leave, without coming back. We didn’t expect to be waited on hand and foot; what stood out was the lack of basic service and attention to detail. I’d also avoid ordering cocktails. They were often sloppily made, served in dirty glasses, and handed over carelessly. We raised all of this with management during our stay and have video evidence. They offered a massage and a beach pavilion, which we declined because neither addressed the main problems. We contacted our travel rep and Seven Seas about moving hotels, and followed up several times, but it never happened. Would I recommend this hotel? Not in a million years.

We had a very good family holiday here and were happy with our stay. There was lots of different food, and the pool, beach, and grounds were clean. The animation group kept us busy with darts, yoga, Pilates, bingo, and evening shows. We plan to come back next year.

With two little ones, ages 1 and 3, we were amazed at how family-friendly this place was, even for our baby. The room was spacious enough for four and clean, like the restaurant and pool areas. The AC worked well and cooled the room quickly. Over our 10-day stay, the food was good and varied: several kinds of meat, vegetables, pastries, fish prepared in a western style, and local dishes to try. The kids’ food section was a standout, with 6-10 dishes suitable for our one-year-old. They even had baby food in small jars, the kind sold in supermarkets or pharmacies, so we didn’t have to worry. Waiters brought clean baby seats with bibs and wipes. There are three pool areas, all good, though we spent most of our time in the kids’ section. It has three pools, three big slides, and two baby slides. A sail shade covers the smallest baby pool, making it usable even when the sun is too hot. The pools were 26-30 degrees and comfortable for the kids. The wider children’s area also has outdoor and indoor playgrounds, both great for keeping them busy. The indoor one is especially well equipped. You can leave older children there, I think over four, and the animators run different activities throughout the day. The theater is in this area too, with shows and mini disco almost every night. The shows were too late for children who go to bed early. We’d read that parties can keep you awake in Turkey, but that wasn’t an issue here. There were parties, but I think they ended by midnight, were away from the main building, and we heard nothing with the windows closed. The beach was clean and had no smoking. It had separate areas for adults over 18 and people with small children, which was great. The upper part is sandy, but it gets rocky by the water and in the sea. Going in wasn’t pleasant, since the rocks could bash your legs. That was basically our only complaint. The water was crystal clear and clean, though a little cold for the kids when we visited in the second half of June. The staff were lovely and attentive, and everyone we dealt with spoke English well enough. They did their jobs well without being pushy about sales or tips. The complex is beautiful, with lots of green areas for kids to run and play, and pine forests around it that kept the temperature pleasant. When we come back to Kemer, we won’t look elsewhere. It’s AMAZING!

There are activities going on throughout the day, and the pool music is mellow and relaxing. The food and drinks are very good quality too. From reception to the animation team, everyone makes you feel welcome and works to make sure you have a great time.
