The sunset from here was wonderful. The staff were attentive, and the price felt very fair for the quality.

The bay looks beautiful, especially once the spectacular sunset has passed and the place is lit up. We had fish, which was a fantastic choice at a reasonable price, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They bring a lovely selection of cold starters right to your table.

The atmosphere was nice, but dinner was a thoroughly bad experience. The food was only okay, and the service was frustrating. We had to get a gentleman to help place the order, then our waiter kept serving other tables and didn’t come back to us. Bread, which other tables seemed to get automatically, only arrived after we asked for it. Communication was difficult because none of the staff could speak English and we don’t speak Turkish either. There were cats all around us while we were eating fish. I have nothing against cats, but they came uncomfortably close to my wife and child, and no one from the staff tried to move them away. When we left, they went straight for the leftovers on our plates. I have a photo of one cat going for the food. I’m not trying to berate the restaurant, because I think there’s a lot of potential for better customer service.

This was the worst place I visited during my week in Turkey. They included a bottle of water and bread that I hadn’t ordered on the bill, without telling me that anything brought to the table would be charged. Then there was another 20 TR listed as “Service.” There seemed to be just one waiter who spoke English, and I had to keep chasing people and waiting for my food. I DO NOT recommend it.
