Villa Rustica Hotel

Toffee, the hotel's dog, is a delight 🐶. We stayed five days and really liked the helpful staff and renovated rooms. Everything was super clean. I truly recommend this place.

The breakfast was ridiculous. There’s no buffet, which could be fine, but every morning we got the same meager spread: two bread buns for two people, four small cheese slices, a couple of vegetables, and honey. No variety, and only just enough to keep you from being hungry. Coffee and juice cost extra at checkout, and nobody had told us beforehand. Our “deluxe” room was in very poor shape. It was dirty and never properly cleaned, either before check-in or during the stay. The door lock was broken, and the shower drain was blocked, so the bathroom flooded every night after we showered. Villa Rustica calls itself a boutique hotel and looks nice at first, but the whole stay felt like a complete cheek. The staff were unfriendly and uninterested in fixing these problems or making our stay enjoyable. It felt like they simply didn’t care about guests or their needs. I’d never go back or recommend it. We regret the money we spent. Find somewhere better.

Hilal at the front desk went out of her way to help me several times, and that’s why this place deserves five stars. It’s charming, central, and good value for the money. The rooms are very clean too.

The owners are a lovely couple, and they’re there with you all the time. The music is wonderful, families seem happy, and there are books to read. You can donate your books there too if you like. Clean, large rooms, a nice breakfast, and a pleasant atmosphere. Go spend a nice holiday here.
