Homestay Halfeti Fırat Pansiyon

The courtyard has a magnificent view, and the owner, Mr. Ercan, welcomed us so warmly and kindly. It's a lovely place if you don't arrive with very high expectations. I highly recommend it.

The courtyard gives you a beautiful view over all of Halfeti, spread out below. It's a converted house with courtyard architecture similar to Midyat houses, and the rooms and furnishings are functional and spotlessly clean. There’s a refrigerator, AC, hot water, and a kitchen. Before leaving, Mr. Ercan gave us the kitchen key and explained everything we needed. We made tea ourselves and sat enjoying the view for ages. We'd been a bit wary because of the previous review, but when we arrived at 8 PM, Mr. Ercan had tea ready over the embers and was waiting for us. His gracious way of pouring it and the pleasant conversation made us feel we'd chosen well. We felt like hosts, not guests. It's a clean, nostalgic place with a natural, friendly atmosphere. I'm so glad we came despite that review, and I'll definitely return soon with my wife and children.

White roses greeted us in the garden, and the old stone houses have a lovely authentic feel. My wife and I were in Halfeti for the first time, and this is a great place for families to stay. We loved the view. The owner, Mr. Ercan Arslan, made tea over a fire, and it tasted wonderful. Thank you to him.

The owner even left us the kitchen key in the morning and told us to help ourselves to food and drink. It made us feel like homeowners rather than guests. We arrived at 2:00 AM, and he had made tea and was waiting for us. He was friendly and genuine, and our rooms were clean and well kept. All four of us left happy. If we're in Urfa again, we'd choose this place for its location, view, and comfort.
