Club Munamar Beach Resort – All Inclusive

The food was awful. I struggled to find anything to eat at every meal, even the chicken and chips looked and tasted boiled. They reused food for the next meal, and one night the chicken was frozen, so staff just turned up the warming plates. They didn't seem to care. We spent a lot eating out, and the kebab house across the road and Richard’s bar further up the street were both 10/10. Our room was basic and clean, but the towels were only changed every three days. There was no toilet roll when we arrived, so we had to ask reception for it every day. We also had no hot water at first. We reported it five or six times and were told it was fine. Eventually we figured out that the cold setting was hot, but it took a good five minutes to run. Reception gave us no real information about the hotel, just a sheet with meal times. It's spread across three buildings, and nobody explained where the pools or food were. We had to ask other guests, who were just as lost. The excursion guy was rude when we told him we already had trips booked, and kept up the annoyed looks for the rest of our stay. Bar and kitchen staff were okay, though their English was limited. When we booked, this was advertised as a four-star hotel. It absolutely isn't, barely two stars. It was also advertised as having a section on the beach, but it doesn't. There's no private area, and you have to pay to use another bar's sunbeds. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I rarely write reviews, but if this stops even one person wasting money here, it's worth it. Spend a little more on another hotel and save yourself money in the long run.
