The staff were friendly, and about €17 a night for a single room seemed fair. Still, the bathroom had stains all over, and the flush didn’t work. One of the two soaps had already been used, while the sheets and pillows smelled bad enough that I slept with the blanket I’d brought. I know it’s a small city, but a hotel should meet basic standards.

My wife and I had a lovely time there. I’d happily encourage everyone to visit. :)

The refund became a struggle after I wanted to leave as soon as I saw the room. They said they’d return my money when I pressed them, but never did, and I was shocked I’d paid so much. Google calls this a five-star hotel, yet the place didn’t feel like a hotel at all. I also doubt the positive reviews are genuine. Don’t go near it, let alone stay there.
