Ramada by Wyndham Iskenderun Hotel

Breakfast was acceptable, though nothing special. The rest of our stay at the Ramada in Iskenderun fell far short of what we expected, and we wouldn’t stay here or at any of their brands again. The staff seemed impatient and not very welcoming, while the old carpets made the rooms feel dated and poorly kept. Our first room had electrical problems and nothing worked, so a frustrated staff member had to move us soon after check-in. The second room had its own problems: the shower overflowed every time, the mini fridge didn’t work, and the lights by the door stayed on unless we removed the key card and cut the electricity. It was very noisy from the busy road outside. The AC was locked on heating despite the warm weather, so we had to keep the window open. With no insect screens and no way to adjust the temperature, we couldn’t get comfortable sleep. The lack of underground or enclosed parking was another surprise and inconvenience for a Ramada hotel.

We found the location perfect, close to the city center but still quiet. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of fresh choices. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Great hotel, highly recommend!

The staff were the best part, always polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the food tasted great. Laundry was excellent too: our clothes came back clean and ironed within 24 hours. I hope we meet again. Warm greetings from Germany.

Breakfast was good, and the rooms were well equipped, though cleanliness was lacking on some days. The hotel looks quite nice, but it’s annoying that you can’t switch off all the lights and that about a third of the sockets don’t work. The events are what can really test your nerves after a while. Weddings, birthdays, or other gatherings seem to happen practically every other day, with loud music going late into the night, sometimes until early morning. It can make sleeping almost impossible.
