A11 Hotel Bosphorus

The view over the Bosphorus was the one good thing about the room. The hotel didn't look like its photos, and the property felt outdated. The bed had visible stains, which was unacceptable. Service was disappointing too. Reception staff lacked professionalism, courtesy, and basic hospitality. Because our flight was delayed, we politely asked to stay a little longer since we had nowhere to be until 2 PM. They refused abruptly and kept calling to remind us to leave. When we asked for just 20 more minutes to finish packing, they ended the call on us. The stay didn't meet the standard we expected.

The view was amazing, and the location is handy for the ferry and bus stops. But getting to the lobby means climbing a flight of steps, which was inconvenient with luggage, and the hotel didn't help. Staff didn't offer to carry our bags to the room either. Water cost extra when we asked for it. Their English was poor, and they couldn't understand even a basic question about the Wi-Fi username. At the lobby, we waited too long. The front desk woman had no manners, didn't greet or smile, seemed unhappy throughout, and wouldn't answer clearly. It was the same woman at checkout. The mattress was uncomfortable and the sink was clogged. We don't recommend this hotel.

Guzel at reception acted like we owed her a living, and most of the staff weren't friendly or helpful. The walk to the room was long. This hotel isn't worth it, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The view was great, but everything else was really bad. Smoke smell was everywhere, spreading between rooms and into the lobby. I'm allergic to smoke, and it was so bad I couldn't wait to leave. I'd booked a deluxe room, but was told it wasn't available when I arrived. The room they gave me smelled terrible, and the smoke kept me suffering all night. They changed rooms the next day, but the toilet there was broken and didn't work properly. This morning there was no water at all. I don't recommend the hotel and can't wait to get out.
