From the terrace, where they serve breakfast, the views of the sea and sailing ships are amazing. The place is close to local eateries with lovely food, and there’s a market selling carpets and Turkish delight. It’s a 2 minute walk to The Hagia Sofia, the 5th century church that was converted to a mosque and has now reverted back to a church, with its old pictures of Jesus restored. The rooms are spacious, though noise carries easily from one room to another, perhaps because the building is old.

The best thing about this hotel is the door, because you can walk straight back out across the street and go into Bella Otel. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Customer service doesn’t exist, the rooms are dirty and overpriced, and the atmosphere is terrible. The decor looks tired.

The rooms smell bad and are filthy, with disgusting toilets and old, cheap furnishings. The rental price is far too high. There’s no room service crew working, and the place is crowded and noisy. I don’t recommend staying here.

The bed was really comfortable, and the location was great. Staff were cheerful, friendly, and helpful.
