Aliee Istanbul - A Paris Society Collection Hotel

The goat cheese salad was a delicious, distinctive choice, and my flat white was excellent. We also loved the lovely outdoor seating, where the natural surroundings meet the sea, and the place itself is beautiful and elegant. Jason made a real difference with his patience, kindness, and helpfulness. We had lots of requests, and he handled them all warmly and professionally. The other staff were welcoming too. God willing, I'd like to stay at the hotel next time I visit.

Breakfast service really rounded out my stay. Umit and mehmet were fabulous. The new hotel feels private, discreet, and luxurious, with fresh interiors, thoughtful details, and all the amenities you could need. Service is on another level, and the gym is fantastic. I also appreciated the daily group sessions. If you're after real hospitality, this is the place.

Khissia, one of the wonderful Filipina staff members, made our birthday celebration especially memorable. She gave everyone at our table personal attention and worked hard, even in the cold, to make sure we were comfortable and happy. From the moment we arrived, her warmth and positive energy made us feel the kindness of Turkish hospitality. We’re grateful for her dedication, and for the hotel's excellent service and friendly atmosphere.

The service doesn't feel suited to a hotel charging around €700 per night. At check-in, we got very little information: no one mentioned that the indoor pool, sauna, and steam bath could be used for free, and nobody showed us the facilities. The gym and classes weren't introduced either. I only received the fitness schedule by WhatsApp on day two, and it covered that day alone, so there was no way to plan ahead. Staff mainly communicate through WhatsApp and seem to be on their phones constantly, which comes across as unprofessional. There are also basic service gaps at the outdoor pool. Towels are left rolled on the loungers instead of being laid out, and even water isn't complimentary, which surprised me at this price. Breakfast is limited to a traditional Turkish breakfast or egg dishes. There’s no muesli or pancakes included, and the sweet choices are just bread with jam or a plain croissant. The hotel looks beautiful, from the interior design to the outdoor spaces, and the location adds to its appeal. It initially feels very luxurious, but the experience seems focused on appearances more than substance. Compared with The Peninsula or Mandarin Oriental in this price range, it falls well short.
