Ar Suites Taksim

I stayed there for two months. It felt very safe, and the staff were good. The location made it easy to get everywhere, with everything I needed nearby.

The staff were capable and spoke English, and I'll give them credit for that. It's also only 3-5 minutes from Taksim, which is handy. But the hotel is tiny and not a good fit if you're an experienced traveler hoping to explore all of Istanbul. The rooms are small, dim and not very cozy, and there's no restaurant, though you can get food delivered. During my whole stay I never saw the cleaner, and I had to beg to get the towels and sheets changed. It's just about okay for a couple of nights if you have no other option. I still wouldn't recommend it, despite the staff's effort and friendly attitude.

It's a beautiful, clean hotel, and the manager and reception staff were kind and helpful. It's also near Taksim Square, with easy access to the metro, bus and Istiklal street.

Right near the main street in the center, so taxis are easy to find close by. The hotel is clean and comfortable for a reasonable price. The lobby isn't big, but the WiFi is fast and the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay, recommended.
