Hotel V Plus Taksim

The breakfast was extremely basic and not very good, and there wasn't even real coffee. The room was very small and uncomfortable, with so little space that I could barely reach the closet to put my things away. The bathroom was cramped too, with only a small shelf for my belongings. The furniture was old but clean. The bed was comfortable enough, and the shower worked okay, with a steady flow of water at the right temperature.

It's a simple, clean place with basic amenities and modest but comfortable enough rooms for a short stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and although the service is casual, they were always ready to help. For the price, it's good value. Taksim Square is a short walk away, which makes exploring the heart of the city convenient. A good fit if you just need somewhere to sleep near the action in Istanbul.

Breakfast was crowded and understocked, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, so remote work wasn't possible. Housekeeping missed obvious spots, while the AC rattled all night and the soundproofing was almost nonexistent. At this price, the value isn't there. I won't return.

We stayed here as a couple and were very satisfied. The area was quiet, and the rooms were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, inviting us for tea or coffee on the balcony or in the lobby each evening. I'd give one star for room maintenance, one for the staff, and one for the area and price. Thanks for having us.
