Aspera Altunizade Hotel

The mini fridge was the one thing I didn’t like, since it was stocked with very expensive snacks and alcohol. Housekeeping did a good job, though we had to ask for them to come. The rooms are spacious, clean, and furnished with new furniture. Breakfast has a good range of the usual Turkish dishes, and the restaurant downstairs was good, if a little pricey. For a 4-star hotel, it’s very good value.

The rooms are really nice, and I didn’t hear noise at night. It’s well built and close to everything. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Istanbul.

The bathroom was good, but the room smelled of cigarettes mixed with a strong deodorizing spray, and it made for a bad night’s sleep. There were cigarette burn holes in the sheets, and the bed and pillows weren’t very good either. I’m glad I booked just one night. I wouldn’t return unless they made it non-smoking, improved the beds and bedding, and renovated the place.

The Turkish hamam was a treat, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were very hospitable, especially mr. Kemal, who was kind throughout my stay. Aspera Altunizade is also conveniently near public transportation and a large shopping mall. I was glad I stayed here.
