Asur Hotel

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was just what I needed after a busy day. The breakfast buffet had plenty of different things to keep you going. In the evening, sitting outside at the lotus restaurant with a glass of wine was a lovely end to the day. This seemed like a small, modern hotel, but it was within walking distance of most of Istanbul’s main sights. We sometimes took the tram, though the hotel was really in a perfect spot. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The food was delicious and freshly made, and breakfast was amazing. The staff, from reception to housekeeping, were all attentive and friendly. Burhan Bey was especially helpful and kind. The location is excellent: Gulhane tram is two minutes away, Sirkeci tram is four minutes away, and Eminonu sahil is five minutes away. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Istanbul. I’ll definitely return to Asur hotel and recommend it.

It’s a good hotel at a reasonable price, with a restaurant and a rich breakfast. The staff gave us great attention, too. The street is quiet even though the hotel is right in the center, and the elevator exit from Sirkeci train station is 200 meters away. I recommend asking for a room on an upper floor, as there’s less street noise.

We had a wonderful four-night stay, with outstanding service and a location close to everything. Many thanks to Mr. Zeki, mehraj, and Younes for their excellent hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on our next visit.
